Flexible Rates

We operate on a sliding-scale so that short-term accommodations can be available to those in need*. Suggested rates are variable and depend on number of guests/beds required, length and nature of your stay. We esentially ask that you consider what you could comfortably afford given your circumstances in the range of $0-$100 night with an average rate of approximately $40/night/bedroom. We will suggest a rate at the time of booking but ultimately allow you to pay whatever you can afford and wish to pay.

Seasonal drive/walk-in camping rates can also be suggested but generally average $10-$25/night depending on length of stay, number of guests and need for use of kitchen & bathroom facilities.

Payment

We accept Visa/MC/Amex, Cash, Checks, artwork and memorial or in-kind contributions. Labor trades or other forms of bartering may also be possible. To make a Credit Card payment/donation, please select "donate".

Special Events/Groups

Grandma Myrtle's Guesthouse has 2-3 double beds as well as couch/floor space for more. Seasonal camping on the property is also available.

*Hardship/Bereavment/Emergency Accommodations Available

If you are planning to visit friends or family in the Barnesville area who are in a nursing home, hospitalized or your visit is due to an illness or death and you will experience financial hardship, emergency/hardship accommodations may be available at reduced or no cost.
